Why are we to "abstain from drinking the blood of strangled animals"?

Bruxy looks into one of the more bizarre passages in the Book of Acts and discusses whether it has any relevance in our lives today.

  1. The fear of God will have you do preventative actions just in case not to take the risk because your flash once it

  2. It’s still a heathy way of eating. Strangled animals produce adrenaline and the blood is mentioned many times

  3. Actually my friends and fellow commentators. Although I appreciate the video, I'd like to point out that the information here isnt all correct. Acts 15:28 (KJV) clearly states " For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary thing ". It goes on to listing the things we should abstain from, including blood. Notice the apostle clearly says " these are NECESSARY things ". Not something to be later dismissed by later Christians. For " it seemed good to the Holy Ghost ". We should abstain from blood in obedience to God. I am no JW but it seems to me that if your doctor told you to stop eating carrots you'd be smart enough to not inject it instead. In fact the medical field is moving away from blood transfusions because of the unhealthy risks it brings to patients. It's in fact a dying practice. I'm no expert. I'm just saying. Thank you for the video.

  4. British favorite traditional Black Pudding is made from blood, Filipino favorite stew dinuguan is also made from blood. Why does everybody have this fascination and craving for eating blood? The scripture clearly states:- “that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from fornication."

  5. It was mentioned in the old testament, including the time of Noah, it is forbidden to eat blood

  6. Totally wrong about that the law is done away with. Look up what Yeshua says in Matthew 5:17-20. This is heresy.
