Create a Partition Assistant Bootable CD

Minimum requirements:

500 MHz x86 or compatible CPU
256MB RAM memory
Mouse and Keyboard

Partition Assistant supports all the storage devices recognized by Windows, such as IDE, SATA, SCSI, SSD, USB external disks, Firewire disk, Hardware RAID, Flash drive, and so on. It supports MBR (under 2TB) and GPT (larger than 2TB) up to 32 hard disks, with file system FAT, FAT32, NTFS, EXT2, EXT3 formats.

It supports different versions of Windows depending on the software edition. In general, it works on Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8, Small Business Server 2003/2008/2011, Windows home server 2011, and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 (both 32bit and 64bit).

*** Note: Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) must be installed on your PC. To install Windows AIK, You’ll need a DVD Writer drive, a blank 4.7GB DVD Recordable disc, and a Third-Party ISO Image burner software (MagicISO, Nero, Raxio, etc.). For the Bootable CD, you’ll need a DVD/CD Writer drive, a blank CD-R disc, and a Third-Party ISO Image burner software (MagicISO, Nero, Raxio, etc.).

  • For Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows 2008, please download Windows AIK (Automated Installation Kit) which is a set of tools that could help you configuring and deploying operating system to new hardware. If your system is Windows 7/8/8.1/2012 and Server 2008 R2, normally you can make a Windows PE bootable media without downloading and installing Windows AIK a think so your don't inderstand

  • Once you have burned the ISO to a DVD and the DVD writer ejects it do you just press the button on the front of the DVD writer and let it load up to install AIK??????

  • Apparently Microsfts download section of there web site is down, reason being i have tried to download the AIK.iso file for Windows 7 SP1 and nothing has happened in over a HOUR as of 3-11-2013

  • The page you show @ 4:43 in your video, i have searched all over the AOMEI web site for it and can not locate it so i could download AIK.iso image, i even tried Microsofts web site and everytime i tried to do the download all it did was hang up on there web site.

    So is there another location to download the AIK from.
