  1. I just have a network boot setup on my synology nas with clonezilla hiren boot cd etc i would do memtest but memtest asks 3000 dollars for it, i am not paying for it i guess its meant for company license i have no idea why they asume that consumers cannot setup a pxe boot server at home for uefi, ipxe has been avaible for very long time now.

  2. Question for anyone, I can boot up the USB just fine but once the image is loaded it does not recognize any attached USB drives. How are you supposed to restore an image file that is attached to a external USB drive? Anyone else having this problem?

  3. i have downloaded the iso file but it is now in RAR format after download..also i cant find any HBCD.iso file i that RAR file….what to do now????

  4. Hi my compaque presario lap top has windows vista and has failed to open. i am at a blue screen that says to insert a windows automated system recovery disk into floppy drive. should i download this boot drive onto a USB and insert that instead of a disk?

  5. Funny the directions they give on Hiren's website don't work at all. Rufus to the rescue once again. Thanks for the vid and clear instructions.

  6. Tried using Etcher to create the bootable usb which I’ve done easily for many Linux distros including clonezilla, but with the hirens iso Etcher said there was “no partition table” on the usb? I reformatted the usb to fat, exfat, fat32 and NTFS but it still wouldn’t recognize it, yet the iso installed just fine in a virtual box vm? So the iso is fine…any idea what I’m doing wrong? Will Rufus do what Etcher cant?

  7. ITS EASY TO USE!!!. its not complicated as the old versions of Hiren’s boot cd its a fully working OS …(well temporary OS)… and partition tools are easy to use.even with a cute loading theme of a chubby cat dancing.

  8. Britec09_Give YUMI a test drive, great replacement for Rufus. I only use Rufus for single iso. YUMI can do multiboot, and you can delete a tool you no longer want on it, and add more. Just load your usb in step one, step 2 on Single PE, select the cd. For HBCD PE it even has an entry. If no go can do grub via ram as well. To delete one, select view remove, option 2 you get list of installed boot cds 🙂 And YUMI is free and has a portable version as well.
